“The quality of your life is based on the quality of the questions you ask!” – Tony Robbins
How to find yourself – Patrick Bet-David – question everything – One of the toughest things to do is to be able to ask the tough questions. It is the questions you don’t want to ask because you’re so scared of the answer! It could be the question of “what am I going do with my life, with my purpose?” What are the things that have happened to me, and how did they relate to where I’m headed, and really probing and asking me questions now? Because here’s the deal: if you don’t ask questions and be able to set up your own life than others are going to do it for you! So, you may as well see what your life is going to become for you and start asking yourself those questions now! These are the questions that are hard; that make you think, that question you and ask why you think the way you do, why you believe what you believe. By being able to get that level of clarity, we are now able to make decisions that are focused and driven where you get to write your own story, versus having someone else write it for you.
Life Mantra Question Hack – Tim Ferriss – “If you could put anything on a billboard for the whole world to see, what would that be? This will help clarify who you are and what you ultimately want to be known for. It might also give you an idea on what your life philosophy might be!
Strategy Hack Question Hack – Tim Ferriss – What if I could do the opposite of what I’m currently doing to solve the same problem for the next 48 hours? For example, when I had a sales job, everyone was trying to reach CEOs and others from 9 to 5. I Started making calls from 6 to 8 so I can actually find them during their off hours and had much higher connects! They fired me because it wasn’t their rules, even though I had proven it’s much more effective and it made complete sense. I was able to do that by questioning why 9 to 5 and why not call CEOs when they’re usually available, before their day starts or after it ends! So, by asking this question, it will force you to look outside the box at other strategies that might be more effective for you!
Insight Hack – Alex Dee – Before doing anything, ask yourself the following question: “What hole am my trying to fill? For almost all of us in our lives, we’re taking action because we’re trying to fill some hole whether it is wanting to be loved, not feeling empty, shallow, alone, not feeling fear, misery, or not being uncomfortable! Whatever that is, start becoming aware of what hole you’re trying to fill! You’ll find the answers are the root to the cause of what you’re seeking! From there, you can know that the actions may be so you can feel love or be enough and be aware of them. And then, not only take the appropriate activities to fill the hole but by being aware of it, you’re now empowered because you know the deep underlying root for why you’re doing what you’re doing!
Time Question Hack – Tim Ferriss – if I had a gun to my head and can only work two hours a week, what would I focus on? I know it’s impossible and that it defies my mind and ability, but if I was forced to it, what would be possible!! What’s great about this question is it will force you to come up with ideas that free up your time so you can do what you love! That is the ultimate prize and well worth the time to determine some of the possible answers!
What to focus on Question – The one thing question hack – the one thing Book – Gary Keller – what we should focus on is that necessarily based on an answer, but a question. Andrew Carnegie once said that you should find the one thing that you want to focus on, and then put all your efforts into it. So, the ultimate question to the “I don’t know what to focus on life” is this: what is the one thing I can do, that by doing it, everything else becomes easier or unnecessary? By focusing on this one thing, this will help you to narrow down all choices and start with the most important thing first. It’s not just about doing the right thing, at the right time, in the right order. So, by asking this question it will allow you to do just that. And then for the daily question, it is what is the one thing I can do right now? This question is tied to the first question, which is “what is the one thing I can do right now that will get me closer to making everything else become easier or unnecessary.” By focusing on this question, you will focus on your one thing and then everything else, and all your other tasks will follow like the domino effect!
What can I learn from the people that I hate the most Question Hack – Tim Ferriss – I always ask: What can I learn from the people I hate the most? There are two things this does. One, it allows you to take out your morality and judge the argument based solely on its effectiveness. And two, it allows you to develop some form of empathy and realize there may be a level of relatedness that will get this to a level of humanity vs them and you!
