If you’re like most women, you probably can’t wait to say goodbye to 2018. This has been a challenging year, am i right? If you’ve been feeling meh, and you’re ready to take control of your life and do those things you’ve always wanted to do, 2019 is the year to do it. Here are some ways you can make it happen:
Buy a bike
If you’re like most women, you were probably always told that motorcycles were too dangerous… or worse… masculine. Luckily, you no longer care, right? One of the great things about growing older is realizing that you’re free to do whatever you like. This doesn’t need to be an expensive hobby either- whether you like the idea of two wheels or four wheels, you can find a variety of options that won’t break the bank. There are even Honda atv parts sold online now- making it easy for you to get your hands on whatever you need.
Do yourself a favor and get some help from someone you trust. They’ll be able to help you learn everything from changing your oil to replacing four wheeler tires. And if you’re short on cash, check out some oem Honda motorcycle parts online.
Take a martial art
If you’ve always wanted to kick butt… literally, then this is the way to do it. From Karate to Tae Kwon Do, Judo to Krav Maga, there really is something for everyone. Learning to defend yourself is not only hugely empowering, but it could save your life one day. There are also women-only classes if you’d prefer to learn with other women, however it often makes sense to practice with men, so you can get a feel for how to defend yourself well against them.
Stop waiting for tomorrow
How often have you pledged to do something new, or finally get around to writing that book, learning that language, or taking that course, only to leave it until ‘tomorrow?’ Here’s the thing: Everytime you pledge to do something and fail to follow through, your subconscious is learning that it shouldn’t really trust you when you set goals. This is hugely damaging, since it means you’re more likely to fail in the future. Take a few minutes to write down all of the things you’ve wanted to do but have been putting off for whatever reason.
Now, choose one thing that you’ll start (or set the wheels in motion for) tomorrow. You’ll be so proud that you did.
