When we are born, a lot of information connects to us. We should work with this, understand, experience, and live all they teach. How can we do this? By having a good foundation from our ancestors. If they achieved something great, you can add to that base your information or knowledge, and so can your children. But if they didn’t achieve anything, there’s not much information available for you to connect yours.
What does this mean? Whatever mistakes our grandparents or our parents made, our society still pays its price today. Many people still cannot live their best lives, they are not able to make their life plans happen. Why? Because they lack the necessary foundation for it. We can or could have a lot of knowledge in vain, if you cannot connect it to any base, no one will understand or ask for it. You should strive to do something that others understand!
Who We Are Without Masks
If we would all show who we truly are, it could be a good base to build ourselves up. But we are far from this today; most of us want to show more than where we truly are. And it is hard to develop from there. The problem with the fake it till you make it could be that others translate it like you don’t need help with what you already know and understand. If you act like this, you should possess true knowledge and understanding on which you can really build something.

Like at school, the grades follow each other for a good reason. Each grade requires you to have the knowledge learned in previous grades. What happens if this knowledge is lacking? Your foundation on which you build your further knowledge, won’t be strong either. These are your levels of consciousness, which are built on each other. Each level has a base with which you can go to the next level and also has a completion that enables you to proceed fully.
Basic knowledge only equals passing grades, whereas distinction shows the wholeness of it. Therefore, we shouldn’t see more into our basic knowledge (pass grade) than what it is. We tend to do so. Why is this important? Because we cannot truly evolve from our basic level of consciousness. We can only do so when we learn and understand everything.
Going Back to Previous Grades
Much of our consciousness is still moving back and forth because we haven’t understood everything yet. If you understand everything on the level of consciousness, you don’t have to go back to previous grades. You can move forward, and learn to proceed between classes at a normal speed. There comes a time when the entirety of your knowledge will be tested. At exams. And you will have to learn what you have previously missed out on.
We tend to think that we no longer need what we have learned. I’ve got bad news. If you think you don’t need teaching, then you only teach and keep getting better. Great things keep happening to you, like to a child who knows more and more. But if this is not what’s happening to you, you still need to learn. And learning isn’t a shame, but a virtue. It is great to learn but to know from whom and what you should learn, requires faith and intellect.
You need to understand what the other person you want to learn from is better at than you. And you also need faith in that you can understand who’s better than you at something, and what’s this person better at than you. If you understand this, you will only open yourself to someone who knows more of something than you do.
Where Is Education Today
Some of our children have to learn from teachers who know less than them. What do you think happens then? They don’t open up to them. It can be seen from their limited attention, not taking these teachers seriously, and not respecting them. Of course, there are also teachers who are highly respected. A good teacher doesn’t expect students to perfectly know everything, rather, that students understand and enjoy the material, and even pass it along happily.

Today this isn’t what’s happening. Many teachers are tired, under a lot of pressure, lacking modern knowledge, are burnt out, and don’t enjoy teaching anymore. Students learn from such an attitude with more or less success. More from private teachers. Today, as opposed to times before, our kids’ secondary school knowledge can be less sometimes than the primary school knowledge of kids some decades ago.
We are going at such a speed today that we miss our foundations, on which we could build further knowledge. Teaching shouldn’t be just providing the material for our kids but teaching them what we know. It is only possible if they want to keep learning and understand what they don’t yet know, or need to relearn. You can only find this out by knowing how and what the teacher is teaching.
What To Expect From Your Kids
What can you expect from a generation that mostly respects its teachers based on age difference, and not on their wisdom or what they can teach? You shouldn’t teach outdated things that they won’t be using. Instead, you need to start understanding more of the things we can also teach our children, and they can utilize. And if you don’t understand something, you should learn it from someone who understands the same thing.
If you think of children who didn’t receive many teachings, only rules, what comes to your mind? They lack true knowledge, sadly. Remember how you felt when they tried to push down rules on you without educating you first? We should learn from the mistakes we experienced, to understand that our future generation cannot develop like that. We should rather have schools where students can only go to the next grade when everyone has acquired knowledge.
