Asia is jam-packed with exciting destinations and things to do. If you’re planning a trip to Asia, your biggest problem will be narrowing down where to go.
Luckily, cheap flights between hubs make it easy to see plenty of places in a small amount of time. And while you are waiting for your flight you can play some free slots no download so time will pass faster.
Here are the best places to travel in Asia this year:
Cambodia
Cambodia is one of those places that gets under your skin. The people are some of the poorest in the world, and can also be some of the friendliest. They’re continually willing to joke and laugh with you, and are often happy to tell you all about their country’s past.
No visit to Cambodia is complete without a visit to Angkor Wat. Located in the bustling town of Siem Reap, you’ll need a few days to explore this incredible site. Hire a tuk tuk and a driver and take your time. To learn more about Cambodia’s history, visit the killing fields in Phnom Penh.
Thailand
While Bangkok will likely be your first stop when you fly into Thailand, it’s well worth heading north to Chiang Mai. Stay in the old city if you’d like to watch orange-robed monks each morning, and explore the many temples here. Don’t miss the night markets, and consider hiring a scooter and going for a drive in the hills around the city. If you get a chance, visit Elephant Nature Park- a sanctuary where you can learn about the incredible work the owner Lek is doing to help these elephants. You can wash and feed the elephants and watch them hang out in their herds.
Japan
If you want to get up close to a completely different culture, go on a holiday to Japan. Whether you visit in cherry blossom season or decide to go skiing in winter, this country has plenty to offer. Spend a few days in Tokyo (check out a capsule hotel) or consider taking a tour so you can see as much as possible in a short time frame.
Bali
Bali gets a bad rap, since Kuta is known as “little Australia.” But there’s so much to see and do here, from snorkeling in Nusa Lembongan, taking a yoga class in Ubud, or sunbathing in Lombok. Don’t forget to visit the Monkey Forest- just leave your sunglasses at the hotel or they might be nabbed by curious monkeys.
